This appears to be the major drawback with cms systems, and why I still use straight html, php, etc in my own sites. This is what I've been doing for other people when I make a site for them with a cms and hopefully it will work for you: a) I make one straight html template page with a menu for each...

I'm using firefox 8.0, 1.0 and IE 5.5 I'm not sure what the version of IE the site owners are using but when I ran thru the system with them on their computer a few days before, all was working well. htmlarea has always been somewhat buggy in firefox and I never could get the other editor to work at...

Hi I've searched the forum for answers on problems with this, and have pulled up hundreds of links each time and am burning out trying to find the answer. Hopefully this is not a blatant re-posting. Anyway, I put up a site for someone that had been working just fine. The htmlarea sometimes wouldn't ...

Maybe it's time to redo the login process

I am no php expert but I gotta say that this is the most difficult log in system I have ever come across. Unfortunately its also the nicest cms so I have been sticking with it but the frustration level is running extremely high because of the persistant log in problems. Do a search and you'll find t...

Take a closer look at your template. Were they all using the default? Or were the first two different from the rest. If the latter then change the template of the rest to the same template as the first two. You can also create a template to look however you want. Check out the documentation site for...

Hi regarding the news type layout of the front page text: It all depends on the template you chose when you began the 'article' there is a drop down to choose the summary template and the full article template. You probably passed over them so they took the default. What you have to do is go into ph...

I just wanted to follow up and let anyone interested know that I wasn't able to get a random image with link mod to work but was able to use an external script easily by utilizing phpwcms replacement tags. It isn't the best solution because it requires a text file with an image and corresponding lin...

Important - make sure the 'public' checkbox is ticked.
Thanks Peekay, after weeks of trying to figure it out this was it. I had it active but not public.

I thought 'public' made it visible to the site's visitors.

I am indebted
