Blank home page (version dev 1.2.5)

I installed phpwcms all the way until the end where you copy setup.conf.inc.php to /config/phpwcms under the name "setup.inc.php"

However, perhaps I missed a step becuase when I now try to access the site I am presented with an almost-blanck page with the words:

"We are sorry!

For service reasons the system is temporarily not attainable.

Visit us later again!"

No buttons or links of any sort are visible. I expected to see some links - at least "LOGIN" Any idea what could be wrong?

I am running Apache 2.0.55 and php 5.1.1 and MySQL 5.0.17
There were no errors reported during setup except I could not change the default wemasters password.

rename setup.inc.php -> conf.inc.php

Should work

It's already called "conf.inc.php" (in /config/phpwcms) There was a typo in my posting.

Hi

if you get this Message, the Database-Conection can not be found.
Check the Database-Settings in your conf.inc.php
