bug in spaw

Post by Fulvio Romanin »

i installed spaw on two different servers, and i get the same error. There's plenty of images in the file library, and it looks like it's not server's fault....

when i log in and try to add images i get the following message on both
servers:

Not Found: the requested URL /include/inc_ext/spaw/dialogs/img_library.php was not found on this server

please consider that the files are there, and the path goes like
http://www.mysitename.com/portale

so it possibly searches somewhere else (is that a pathing problem?)

plus, a curious bug too:
if i open a new article in internet explorer, i get this kind of toolbar:

Image

and if i open it in mozilla i get this other one

Image

which looks a lot like fckeditor, icon-wise, but it's not that...
what can it be??? a different setting? magic? who knows... :)

thx

your last point, curious bug: looks as though it's one of the simple styles for SPAW ref:demo in olivers post.
in wicth case it may be cleaverly replacing the UI for cirtain Browsers (maybe some code is not supported by mozilla).

Download patch again - there was a bug when phpwcms is installed under subdir of doc root. My fault.

You only need to update this file: "spaw_script.js.php"

working. it's astonishing - exactly what i needed :)
and the built-in image upload is definitely a plus. in fact, even on non-gd or imagemagick-installed machines i can actually upload images fixing thus the most annoying problem on my server with no libraries or "safemodes" stuff to fix. Amazing :)

curious flaw - not really a bug - if you have a thumbs.db file or stuff in the same dir as pictures, and you click on it, it tries to d/l it. Who cares. :)

excellent work again, oliver, really

tomorrow me and a friend of mine should get on with our flash frontend for phpwcms. I know this cms is not supposed to be done for that, but since it's so excellent and flash often is very hard to update, context-wise... and this way you can have both versions with very little work too...
we already worked out part of the menu, next step laying out content... i'll leave the source open if we manage to do something cool...

if i could end with my wishlist :)
- frontend authentication for private areas
- veeeeery simple e-commerce replacement tag with basket and check (who needs ebay anyway)
- multi-page articles so text should not be a unique column l2 miles long
- catalogue-building ability (i know it can be done already, but as a workaround, i guess).

nothing more comes to my mind (at the moment)
keep up the good work

It could be cool if you could insert images uploaded via the file central....

Hehe,

I know that this would be the first somebody would ask when using spaw for the first time.

I have limited the functionality of spaw in article summary ;-)

OK switch file in that path here:
"include/inc_ext/spaw/lib/toolbars/article_summary/"

with that one:
http://www.phpwcms.de/support/article_s ... r_full.zip
