user hierarchy system

Post by chipmandoo »

Hi, I am currently looking for a content manager system and came accross phpwmcs

I just would like to know if the software is possible to have a user hierarchy like this:

Visitors (anyone who visits the site, they just see public pages)

Members (These are people with accounts made by mods or admins, they can see content, both articles and image galleries, that are private and that vistors can't see)

Mods (these people can just post articles, pictures and add members, they can't change templates etc)

Admin (this is the normal admin he can control the site etc)

I need this kind of member hierarchy for my site. If phpwcms isn't capable of this yet then my other option is modding phpbb unless anyone can suggest another system to look into?

frontend users and an admin permissions system are in the works ... not sure when the release date is, but I think frontend user functionality is in the latest CVS
