Customization through backend and database

Oliver,

One of my must haves is the feature to store all customization in de backend and database at a user friendly way. At this moment I am editing the conf_template_default.inc.php file to change the NAV_TABLE_COLUMN colors and date format etc...
Also the default body tekst color, article header's etc... is edited in the frontend.css from the backend.

When I hand the system over to content managers, it is very difficult to explain where all the settings have to be edited.

Is it possible to build a settings page (like page settings) where you can fill in the colors for all CONTENT parts in seperate fields to store them in the database.

Also upgrade will be more simple then.
