Adding support for Subscript Characters within the 'content'

Post by aaronazz »

Hello all.

Firstly, thanks Oliver for a truly wonderful CMS.

I have found a seemingly simple limitation within the latest PHPWCMS release that I would greatly appreciate some help.

I have deployed quite a number of PHPWCMS-based sites but have found the need for Subscript text, until now. The website I have just deployed requires subscript for the names of the gasses involved in the product they sell. An example is CO2 for Carbon Dioxide. The 2 must be subscript.

Is there a way I can modify the inner workings to allow subscript in the same way that generates the bold html tags. I have some basic PHP editing in the past, but I am not sure where to start with this one.

I await your generous assistance.

Regards,
Aaron Young.
