Talking about newsletters and mailing lists, here's one of the nicests mailist maanagers I've seen; it is well designed, has the essential functions, even has a choice of newsletter templates; it may be worth taking a look at it:

There is no demo but the download and installation are well worth the effort, the design is simply superb.
