I have a client who wants a newsletter capability on his site and I have been trying to figure out the wcms newsletter content part from the forums. I must be rather dull as I can not get a handle on this content part from the postings.
What I need to know is:
1) does it provide for newsletter registration by web visitors
2) does it provide for verification of subscriber address
3) does it allow for management of the subscribers
3) does it manage newsletter categories
4) does it allow for the creation of the newsletter and automatic mailing
5) does it allow for html newsletters as well as text newsletters
6) does it post the current newsletter in full online
7) does it provide an archive of newsletters
does it provide a search of the archived newsletters9) does it allow for comments to the archived newsletters (not wanted)
If it does some or all of the above, is the wcms content part 'newsletter' provide the location for doing it.
