ID Problem

I there, i have a problem with the id replacement tag. I use levels in the structure of my site which arent visible in the frontent menue, but i need to use the articles in that structure level. This worked out fine for all articles up to ID 8. The weird thing is, that the next article after ID 8 has the ID 10. Link's with the replacement tag ID above 8 work, but dont show any content, eventhough the article exists and is set to visible. Any ideas out there? Thanks in advance!

[ID integer]text or image[/ID]

where integer is the placeholder of the article-ID and not the category-ID!!!

Please proof if there is a mistake in the used integers ( article or category) ???

Hi Pepe, thanks for the answer, but i dont missmatch the category id's with the article id's. It worked fine with [ID integer]text or image[/ID]
up to 08, but articles above arent found..
