New install on existing site.

Hello,

My site is up and running without a CMS. Can I install phpwcms without disturbing my existing structure, then work on intigrating my current site into phpwcms?

hi pinball,

you can set a new directory/folder within your webspace and install it there - then it should be without trouble of your existing website.

except you will use the same database.

My database has information related to my product, is this ok? Can I use a new db?

yes if you setup a new db it will not affect the exising db.

so there shouldn't be any trouble expecting.

i use different installations of wcms each in a own db
