Livedate for content part

I'm trying to create a situation on a page where after a certain date one content part dies and another one becomes live.

I like the way you can do this with articles using livedate and killdate.

When using {SHOW_CONTENT} the CP (from an article which is not yet live) will still be visible within another article (which is live).

just noticed that with 1.3.9 switching live date to the future does control when content parts go live - even if placed within another article by means of show_content RT. However, does not work with CP content part alias.

Not sure if this is a recent change...
