I need a stats module cause I have many phpwcms in the same webhotel and every client would like to see stats based on there own site (folder) and not for the whole server....Pappnase wrote:tell me one reason why!?
so we also need no stats modul cos every good webhoster have one installed for you!!
also you can edit from every place your content. so what is so bad on this idea to read your mails over phpwcms.
I don´t need to rezieve email in the backend when you have a internal msg system... just my 2 cents....
You asked for feedback and I told you my opion....it is not me who decide what to make and not to make... I just told you I don´t think it was a good idea... maybe all other forum members think it sounds great - but I have nothing to use it for....

ohh yes ooh yes,.... I would like that to...DusX wrote:I would love to see a mailinglist feature.. rather than a mail client..
anyone with me on that?
and then you should be able to add and delete maillinglist members via the backend and eg. write the email via wysiwug editor...in frontend I would like a subscripe/unsupscripe feature....

i like that wcms cook my coffee and beak my eggs ...
is that possible ?
but away with humor
a lot of scripts are filled with to much functions !
i don't hope here are we go the same way
all special things good for mods or hacks ... maybe them are better to realize with a special mod api in wcms ... that way i find acceptable ...
blown up scripts be the hell for webmaster and users too

Re: e-mail client
it's quite funny i ask for an e-mail client in the admin and you start a discussion about the newsletter function. where everbody knows that the newsletter will come.Pappnase wrote:hello

and what is so bad that only the admin can check the mails via wcms. i always speak from the admin not for the whole users wich can login in the backend.
Re: e-mail client
It will take tons of time to make a good email client(and there are many at the marked) - and the needs are not big (my opinion) and the times is better used on other things like the news letter function and frontend user thing... my 2 cents.Pappnase wrote:Pappnase wrote: and what is so bad that only the admin can check the mails via wcms. i always speak from the admin not for the whole users wich can login in the backend.

Why you don't use typo3?DusX wrote: I would love to see a robust API for mods created.
and perhaps a method for managing them similar to the one in Typo3.
I've tried it and it's very nice and very featurerich AND it's to big for me.
I like phpwcms because its nice to handle and not so feature overloaded.
