Hi

I know at the moment we can insert images etc but is there a way to create a gallery with the usual thumbnails, view, back, next etc.

If not any plans to add this option?

I used the images content type to have a gallery. it does not do the normal forward/back navigation but rather shows contact sheet of sorts and open up a new window for the picture. I think it works pretty well. You can see it at my site.

Thanks for the reply - yeah I saw yours before.

My only problem is that I have some 50,000 images to show and would have to create a set number per page - rather than say heres the gallery and let the gallery deal with it.

plus a serch function etc - the usual things you get in even the simple gallery scripts

I dont speak German but it seems that they are just talking about the usual gallery software - nothing intergrated within phpWCMS?

no. it is not integrated in wcms.

i still haven't found the right gallery for my needs.

If I do so, I will write here.

well we have been using http://gallery.sourceforge.net/ for years without any problems.
