Music download site?

I've never bought MP3s over the Internet and would like to have a recommendation.

I am planning to purchase 50-100 songs within a couple of weeks.

The MP3s should be playable on PC and MAC and my MP3 player.

How about http://www.7digital.com/ for example?

Where is a good place to buy German songs?

itunes is the best choice.
since yesterday also itunes plus with drm-free music.
if you would like to play the songs on an other player then an ipod, simply burn a cd and convert them again to mp3. no they are playable on every player. legal

what do you want to do with your bought music?
if you dont wnat your acc. info in drm-free music just click on the file. then apfel+i and simply remove the entry. thats it.

- ... the complete package of buy and manage music

i dont know any other service where i can buy music that is only 50% as good as itunes. i am an mac-evangelist
