some bus in the 'images' content part

I have noticed some bus in the 'images' content part. they may affect other image content parts too.

if i had a number of images, each left aligned I would expect then to kep adding themselves to the right of the images next to it until the maximum width of the content area then start a new line and repeate until all images are displayed. in mozilla and firefox this works fine BUT in IE i get
ONE long row with all the images on and a content area about nine miles wide
