{RIGHT} and "Top Articles"

hy guys.

got a problem with the placement of my content.
i've got a 3-column layout, everything works fine since that day.

in one section (news) the news should be listed manually, ok. no problem:
corrected top articles from "-1" to "10".

badabumm. my content at the right side (defined as {RIGHT} in the template) has gone away in the frontend. if i change it back to "-1" everything works.

does anybody has a solution?
