I realize Oliver has a long list of priorities for feature additions & enhancements, so I expect this one will likely be placed near the bottom. But I wanted to add it before I forgot about it.
I would like to see the Article Summary field have an option to be hidden in the article rendering, but available for viewing elsewhere, such as search results and article listings. Some people use the article summary field in lieu of content parts, so the option to do so should remain.
When I use the phpWCMS search capability, it shows an arbitrary number of characters of the article text or article summary and article text if a summary exists as a description. This is a good feature and should remain. If I could choose to hide the summary from the article viewer, but not the search results, that would be great! It would make the search results description better (not just the first couple lines) and allow me to streamline the format ofteh article.
