Help with content parts

Hi I have look around but I did not find something that I need or I was just not see it.... I want to create small boxes in site like news boxes but I dont know how to put inside them the content that I want ... I know that I have seen hre somethin like {Content}: 45 (like the number of the category) but I dont find that post ... can somebody give me a hint or some help?

Do you want to create content inside of this boxes or do you want to show existing content in this boxes?

In the first case you can use a contentpart called wysiwyg-html, where you can use tables with borders, colors and so on... In the second case you can use wysiwyg-html as well, but instead of a content, you'll use one of these replacing-tags, like {show_content}, {teaser_ex}, just to name some of the most popular... You'll find a lot of informations about this replacement-tags (RTs) in this forum, even how to install them on your existing system...

Thnks Tino, and Klappstuhl28 thanks for the drink anyway I will be glad to offer you one if you come to Romania to all of you that keep this forum alive, maybe pico think that I don't search to well to forum ... the truth is that I'm not a programer and I 'm learnig now all this so in the most cases all on this forum are coders not like me and they know much more then a newby like me.

the problem is not that nobody won´t be willing to help.
But this forum is not the adlon-hotel. You can´t
put your problem in a box, ring the bell and get
it back solved.

I little bit more effort by yourself wouldn´t be not
expecting too much.

So, a question like

Hey culd_a,

There is one issue abt. asking questions. Most requests in here come ten or more times. This never made any problems for me.

But taking effort and advantage of the system as well as forum - answers and nailing the "Big brother culd_a can do everything banner" above all is very very curious... AT LEAST

We do not live for you, we live for each others in here.

Sorry for my clear statement, but this has to be pointet out every "once in a while"

If you need help to bring back the copyrights ... let us know

Ok my mistake about that I was just paly with the sistem and try to customize a litle for me no intend to assume credits for oliver or others work sorry if I have ooffend you all. anyway the copyright is there.

Ok,
back to your problem: Try creating one or more custom_blocks in page layout (admin section), then go to page templates and make some design for them, filling in some rts perhaps. At last put the chosen custom_block_name anywhere you want within your template.
Now -within your article creating section- you have the possibility to choose these custom_blocks and fill them with content.
Perhaps this is what you are looking for?

Thanks Claus, I have manage to do with RT {SHOW_CONTENT:x} is working fine .. the only problem is that if I have some boxes and the text is a litle biger it will deform the box ... I have seen another RT but I don't know how it works or how to use it here is the topic http://phpwcms.de/forum/viewtopic.php?t=9203 ... I try to adapt the RT {SHOW_CONTENT:x} like that topic ..I mean I have use boxex made with table and to put background images.

Do you have any Ideea how the script from the topic above is woirking?
