User Access To Only 1 Page?

Post custom hacks and enhancements for phpwcms here only. Maybe some of these things will be included in official release later.

User Access To Only 1 Page?

Post by Infect The System »

Is there a way to limit a registered user to a predertimed page?

What i am trying to do is, give a user a login & password, and limit their access to only one page per account.

So, User A only has access to view Page A, User B only has access to view Page B. And so on and so forth...

Any way to do this?

Thanks,

the clear answer is:

yes and no!

If the user should log in two times than yes otherwise not:

You maybe know that oliver is still working on a user management.
And i´m very confident that it will be great an solve this. I don´t know
if you have the opportunity to use a pear-module?

http://pear.php.net/package/Log/
http://pear.php.net/package/LiveUser ....

Anyway, i will wait.

Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein. - H. Jackson Brown -

PEAR is a collection of php-classes.
in combination with the installer you can pick some
packages to use on your site.

Some webhoster have block those packages
but if you are not workshy there´s a long
way to install them manually.

Much work. And i bet after getting the
perfect result OG will publish the total
ass-kicking FE-Log-User-Admin-Contentpart
