then I would say your host is not good - often the fact for accounts in USA. Try another. Is it working on your local system?

on my hosting account i never had any problems before, so i asked them if they had changed anything but they did not. I guess this problem is not falling off the sky, there must be an explanation. I'm gonna de-install phpwcms till the problem is fixed, cause i cant update my website anymore ;-(

I guess a MySQL problem - or time problem - or something else...

Another possible problem might be that you use an external PHP script that maybe re-initialize the session or something like that.

Nope, none of that, its a plain installation. But i will install it on a new account and let the hosting guys run some more checks on it. Thanx anyway for trying ;-)
