I'm a dunce!
I installed the latest 1.2.5 DEV copy.
allow_remote_URL=1.
Still did not work the way I wanted.
This is what I realized.
I was using the external content function to pull up a form. That worked.
When that form was submitted 'error 404'.
Now this has worked with an early version of phpwcms.
The form calls a php script to send the form.
The path I use is /scripts/filename.php within my html form.
I changed it to the complete path and now it works.
I'll go bury me head now. Thanks!
And a side note. I keep on straying to other CMS systems.
I've played with mambo, drupal and a bunch of others.
I always come back to wcmphp.
And now I see the new features I'm even more excited.
I need to explore how I can give people person to edit certain areas.
I just wish there was an elegant solution to a calendar of events.
