pico hi!

That section (PROFILE) gives me these options only:

> login information

> personal data

Nothing mentions a WYSIWHG option there... :?

Oh sorry,
Clean install 1.2.6 phpwcms
You cant have this switch. V1.2.7/8

On a mac, please use the FF and switch JS to on!!.

conf.inc.php
$phpwcms["wysiwyg_editor"] = 2; //0 = no wysiwyg editor, 1 = HTMLarea, 2 = FCKeditor, 3 = browser based, 4 = spaw

Looks like it's enabled already:

This is what my snippet looks like as is:

$phpwcms["wysiwyg_editor"] = 2; //0 = no wysiwyg editor, 1 = HTMLarea, 2 = FCKeditor, 3 = browser based

WaaaaaaaaaaaaH!

Using FF, please do the following in your backend:

- Clear the browser cache
- Clear the JS-error option at to right in your browser
- edit an Wysiwyg article
- Have alook into the JS-error field at the top right
What did this function display?

Sorry flip-flop but I think we are talking about different problems.

Please see my very first post in this thread. I can't create 'articles' at all! They appear in the tree structure - but not anywhere else. I think Oldfox had the same problem.

But thanks for your help anyway!

Last V1.2.6
Have you uploaded this version via binary FTP? It is very important for this version.

hmmm,

I have Fetch FTP set to 'automatic'. Should it be set to 'Binary' for all uploads ??

YES YES, only this version (last 1.2.6) needs this switch.

Please upload all files again, without conf.inc.php and the CSS-files.

Why you dont use the las 1.2.8ß
