GoogleMaps Module [NEW VERSION 3.0, 2009-02-22]

This is the stand-alone module for Google Maps as a plug-in in phpwcms 1.3.x
New Version 3.0 22.02.2009
It was never easier to create own and personalized maps!
The module comes with some of the latest features the Google Geo Team added to the API.

Backend
- search with geocoding, find any address worldwide
- detailed search with dragable marker in the map
- coordinates are entered with ajax, no need to write or copy it
- 100+ different icons to choose (icon-browser)
- add your own icons easy (separate administration)
- a lot of AJAX is involved to make backend settings as user friendly as possible!
- New kml administration and geoxml handling
- New categories and subcategories

Frontend
- Google AJAX API Loader, new loader class makes everything faster
- GoogleBar (aka Local search control)
- Maximized Info Windows (content comes from phpwcms-article of your choice)
- Overview Map Window
- Physical Map Type
- enhanced algorithm for auto-zoom when several markers active (works now with small distances as well)
- KML!
- ability to add script-code for specific needs (polylines, maximize-info-window and more)
- New Panoramio
- New Google Earth Map Type
- New Sidebar with tabs for all functions
- New Search YOUR map points by search expression or address or range
- New toggle main and/or sub categories
- New directions/routeplanner within YOUR site, user is not sent to google maps
