...habe Kategorien und Produkte, kann ein Produkt auswählen, wird in die Cart aufgenommen, und dann hat sichs. Kann weder zweites Produkt addieren, noch zum Checkout wandern, es heisst jedesmal «Cart is empty». Hab ich da einen Fehler beim DB-Update gemacht?

Noch eine Frage: wie wichtig ist die korrekte Collation? Wenn ich die Tables wie beschrieben erstelle, steht nachher zwar Latin1 drin, aber Latin1_Swedish1_ci und krieg das nicht anders rein.

Nein, das macht dir keine Probleme in deinem Sinne, es wird Sonderzeichen geben die falsch dargetsellt werden ...aber am Warenkorb ändert das nichts. Die Kollation kannst ja im sql File auch ändern. (text Editor)

Weiter vorne hatte flip-flop etwas von einem IP Eintrag erwähnt, in der config Datei, ich hatte das relativ früh nachgeholt, daher weiss ich nicht ob es das war was es nachher zum laufen brachte,

Ich will mich demnächst mal dransetzen und da würde mich interessieren, was alles so möglich ist und vor allem, wie einfach das ist....

Greetings, I just upgraded a site from 1.3.3 to 1.3.5 and I am trying to install the shop module.
as noted above, the tables needed to be created so I took the sql file from setup and modified a copy of the setup.php that is in the banner module so as to install the required database tables.

This is the second pass.

Anyway, I had many of the same problems others had and the problem boiled down to getting the table names in the database to be consistent with the other table names. I can now save preferences and create catagories and products.
