How do i change the css file for the print function

Post by chrissie76 »

Hi, for some reason, the print layout of the site calls the default css file, for the regular site and not print_layout.css so i have a coloured background etc. it is really frustrating, i cant understand what i have done to change it, but i have done seomthing. any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance :P

for anybody having the same problem as i did, for some reason wrapping your print replacement tag in this:

Code: Select all

<!--NO_PRINT_START//-->
[PRINT] <img src="printicon.gif">[/PRINT]
<!--NO_PRINT_END//-->
Seems to fix the problem and then the print page loads the print_layout.css and not your other default page style. weird but it works.

[CHANGE] Print layout can handle template sections now which should be not printable. Use <!-NO_PRINT_START//-->...<!-NO_PRINT_END//--> to define such sections. While rendering in print mode tags and tag enclosed content will be removed.

OK... but pay attention:
Use <!-NO_PRINT_START//-->...<!-NO_PRINT_END//--> to define such sections.
is NOT right... use instead:
<!--NO_PRINT_START//-->...<!--NO_PRINT_END//-->
