Flash activate or not

Post by Stim »

Don’t know how to explain with this bad English really but am try.

When using flash movie with IE browser, there is some text about "activate this function or not", but one swedish, when using mouse over.

Flash move still shows before activate or not anyways and I don’t know what this function in browser really is for. Is it possible some how in IE to not show this alternative, in this case on simple html page?

This "problem" about activates or not is "new"? As I remember there wasn’t anything about activate before and maybe just depends on browser and browser version?

Hi everyone

tyreal2012, U probably rights. All know this, maybe comes 2-3 years ago. What I can’t understand is some site seems have this "inactive" on there page from beginning and other site not. As I suppose there must be some kind of settings, maybe when export flash move or some site, example CNN use some script to get ride of this annoying with flash move.

Take a look on this different site and theirs flash movie for example, some advertising or something

First CNN http://www.cnn.com/WORLD
Like this is what I want to display, whiteout that annoying mouse over to activate or not activate.

And here is some site from forum: http://www.zootrans.de (look at the map)

Test those in IE browser, and u will see this different thing.

There are a number of workarounds that have been talked about (some discussion here: http://www.alistapart.com/articles/flashembedcagematch).

OliverG uses UFO method for phpWCMS handling of flash. For ~most~ generaI situations where you are "hand-coding" your <object> (, you might try THIS solution...because it's easy to implement, works with all <object> tags and is "framework-independent" (no special library needed).
