Strange behavior when posting articles

Post by Tomasahl »

Hello.
Going back to phpwcms I am trying to post several articles under the same submenu - like for instance "food" - but only the first article is shown.
Do I have to make a submenu for every article if I want them listed, or is there a way to fix this that I have forgotten (or never learned)?

I want it this way:

Food
- submenu food
-- article1
--article2 etc

But I can only solve this by doing

- submenu food
--submenu_article1
-- submenu_article2 etc

Hello Tom,

you have to go (in backend) to sitestructure, take the category food, click on edit...

There is a value for Number of toparticles... in your case change it to (f.e.) 2

Here it is your listing for articles beneath this structure.

Thank you Jürgen. That solved that problam - but created a new one ;)

No - but the page I get looks ugly. See for yourself

http://www.ahlbeck.net/index.php?id=20,0,0,1,0,0

Do you or anyone know how I can

a) uncomment the time stamp that now is like a subheader?
b) Change the layout of the headertext "Blad 1" and so on so it looks like the one in the text? (Blue and smaller?)

/Tomas

Btw ... I base this on Pepperkorns css-template "L". Had contact with him some years ago on another project I was on, and after trying out Joomla (I got fed up with the modules) I found my way back to Phpwcms - the only cms so far I have found where the user can decide the layout through css-es and any html yopu want. So I will keep on pounding my head blue until I ggetthis the way I want.

Hi Tomasahl,

you can also place several article menues (which is a certain content part) to get a list of all articles within a certain site structure level presented.

You never get articles listed within site navigation because the navigation is based on site structure but not on articles.

A powerful tool since v.1.3.0 is content part 'Teaser/Link article' which lets you choose from your own templates for the way article links will be placed on a page.
