Music on a phpwcms site

Post by PHPmaster »

Is it possible to get a background music on a phpwcms site ? If yes, how do I do it?

Thanx for every advice,
Jeroen

what about standard html tags to embed media inside your phpwcms template :?:

(very old, basic technique - please search for better solutions like flash streams - this needs to embed inside your phpwcms template, too)

if you are familar with html it is no problem ;-)

best wishes

Hey marcus,
do you have some good recommendations for a way of flash implementation?
(I don't like the thougt of integrating background music at all, but some clients do...).

Thanks,
FELIX

what about this little thing (Music Player Button)?
http://musicplayer.sourceforge.net/
(first result on google search ;-) - http://tinyurl.com/39unda )

the rest is easy and customizable (autostart, repeat track/playlist)
keep in mind on every page reload, the track starts again.

solution:
use frames :?

hope that helps

Hi Marcus - got a ? before downloading the sourceforge example - does it provide source fla? - if so would be easy to 'store music selection' in a shared object which is standard with flash.... could even store soundposition using javascript click through script - just a wee thought......
