, but I'm just in a strange mood, so:This isn't a question of owing. If paying back is realized as a kind of duty, lean back and rethink the whole topic:
Your parents fed you, loved you, hated you, have been cruel or kind - you arouse out of them and they burdened you with their unresolved tasls of life. So perhaps you don't feel responsible. That's ok. So perhaps you feel you don't owe something- that is ok too. But somehow you owe nevertheless.
So freeing yourself and thus becoming an independent human beeing could be a goal - in a way where no question like yours is neccessary anymore, because all you can (and should) do is keeping your taking and giving in balance (besides other behaviors...)..
And how to get there?
Listen to your heart - it will show you how to keep everything well balanced.
And at least you owe respect to your parents as you owe it to every beeing and to yourself. So pay them their bills if they are unable to do it by themselves anymore, but don't feel guilty if you don't (pay their bills)
It is your own responsibility. You are on your own. No one can fix it for you and there is no advice to be given...
