gap between content parts

hi, i have installed 1.2.8 release.
how can i control/remove the gap between several >images< content parts?
i am using (or better abusing) >images< content parts to show only one image in one content part, whithout any text-comments.
i cannot use the >text with image< content part for layout reasons.
if i look at the code phpwcms adds automatically
<tr><td><img src="img/leer.gif" width="1" height="5" border="0" alt="" /></td></tr>
what makes the gap.

that is, i think, an empty container for the option to add text in the >images< content part.
