Upgrade 1.1 RC4 to 1.2.x

Hi,

Can someone please help me with upgrading a fantastico installation of 1.1 RC4 to the latest version?

I'd like to know if I need to use previous upgrades, or simply use the latest one.

I've tried upgrading from 1.1RC4 to 1.2.5 DEV and I get this message:

---

new phpwcms install?

Don't forget to move setup/setup.conf.inc.php

for releases < 1.1.5-dev to include/inc_conf/conf.inc.php
and newer releases to config/phpwcms/conf.inc.php.

Hi,

Thanks for the response, I have installed 1.2.8 and when the whole process was completed, I tried to login and below is the message I got.

XML Parsing Error: syntax error
Location: http://www.granitbuilders.com/login.php
Line Number 1, Column 63:<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">

Do you know how I could fix this?

Hallo alle zusammen

Wir haben hier noch eine 1.1 RC4 rumliegen und würden nun gerne auf 1.2.6 updaten... Wie stell ich das jetzt am dümmsten an, ohne irgendwelche Verluste. Muss ich irgendetwas beachten!? Was ist mit der Datenbank!?
