Problem mit eigenen Blöcken / with Custom Content Block

Hallo,

folgendes Problem tritt bei mir auf:
In meiner Entwicklungsumgebung zu Hause (v1.2.3-DEV) habe ich erfolgreich 4 eigene Content Bereiche eingerichtet.

Auf dem Webserver, auf den ich die entwickelte Umgebung (v1.2.5-DEV) übertragen will bekomme ich beim anlegen eines neuen Artikels aber nur die Wahl zwischen 2 der 4 eigenen Bereiche geboten.

Im Bereich der Vorlagen werden allerdings alle 4 eigene Bereiche angeboten.

Wie kann ich dies beheben?

following is the problem I encountered using Custom Content Blocks.

At Home with v1.2.3-DEV I have created 4 CCBs without any problems but when I try to transfer them to a working server with v1.2.5-DEV two of them get lost in the article center.
What is strange, is the fact, that they are present at the templates.

Any Ideas how to handle this?

noch das dort angebotene Tabellenlayout verwendest?

Bei zwei unteschiedlichen Versionen ist das nicht so einfach,
zu sagen, wodurch das Problem entsteht.
Gibt es einen speziellen Grund dafür, dass du dich für diese
Variante entschieden hast? Es sieht ja wohl sehr danach aus,
als wären Veränderungen im Skript selbst dafür verantwortlich.

It´s hard to say by using two different Versions where the
error occures. It seams that there are changed settings
in the Script itselves responsible for this.

Genau das. Das Layout wird über ein eigenes Stylesheet gesteuert. Der Grund sind die Vorgaben eines umfangreichen und nicht einfachen Corporate Designs, von dem nicht abgewichen werden darf.

Seltsamerweise funktioniert es ja auch in meiner Testumgebung prima. Noch seltsamer ist, das bei den Templates alle Bereiche angezeigt werden, aber in der Artikelzentrale dann nur noch 2 - das heisst ja, dass es eigentlich funktionieren müsste. Ich versuche mal Snapshots einzustellen, die mein Problem verdeutlichen.

Thats right. I ve got to realize a complicated and challenging Corporate Design.

The strange thing is, that, in the templates everything is all right. But in the articles center only 2 of the custom content blocks are present. I think, if there are ANY custom content blocks there should be no reasen that some of them get lost, is there?
I ll try to insert some pics to show the problem.

If i understand you right,

you control your template with CSS. Isn´t it possible to use
the classical CSS-DIV-Settings in frontend.css and
add your settings under the names container, head, left, right, footer?
I don´t have a better idea yet.

Leider nicht möglich - die Website wird aus drei vollkommen unterschiedlichen Bereichen bestehen und das stylesheet nur für den Bereich um den es jetzt geht umfasst schon 800+ Zeilen (und wird noch weiter anwachsen).
Wie gesagt habe ich in der Test Umgebung auch keinerlei Schwierigkeiten damit.
Ich hab jetzt vorläufig mal eine brutale Methode angewandt, um die custom content blocks Online zu stellen. Habe einfach die komplette Tabelle mit den content Inhalten per SQL-Export/Import aktualisiert. Dies kann jedoch nicht die Lösung sein, da ja eigentlich andere für den Content sorgen sollen.

Unfortunately not! The finished website will be split into 3 completely different parts - each with its own stylesheet.
And as I said before at Home I havent had these problems. I ve solved the Problem for now using brute force. I ve copied the complete content table via SQL Export/Import.
But this cant be the solution, because there are others who should be responsible for bringing the content.

Hope someone can help me / Ich hoffe dass mir noch jemand weiterhelhen kann.

Habe das Problem jetzt (zufällig) behoben. Ich habe in die Bereiche in der Vorlage ein Leerzeichen gesetzt und dann wurden die Blöcke plötzlich in der Artikelzentrale zur Auswahl gestellt. Seltsam aber wahr!

Solved the Problem incidentally. I ve just put a non-breaking space into each of the content blocks in the template and then they appeared in the articles central. Strange but true.

I've noticed this, too. I always put {CUSTOM_SECTION_NAME} into each "custom section name" on the template. They don't show up in the dropdown list of assignable content areas until I do this. It sounds like you just have to put something in there for them to work.
