hallo werte community...

nach dem erfolgreichen update zum 27042006 wurden in sämtlichen contentparts und demzufolge auf der HP alle Umlaute durch "�" ersetzt. Leider habe ich keine Ahnung, wie dies zu stande kam noch wie dieses Problem zu lösen wäre. Abgesehen, daß ich jeden einzelnen contentpart per Hand korrigieren müsste, was so sicher nicht vorgesehen ist oder war...

Hat vielleicht jemand auch auf einem Sonntag eine Idee?

check mal das encoding in der config datei ISO xyz oder UTF-8 ?

einfach gesagt, ist UTF-8 ein erweiterter zeichensatz, wenn dokumente so codiert sind, kannst du sonderzeichen (chinesisch, kyrillisch, äüö etc) ins dokument schreiben, ohne html codierungen zu benutzen.

Hallo Leute,

mir ist nun mal leider das gleiche passiert...
Nur leider ist es mit dem Wechseln des Encodings nicht getan. Bei funtioniert der GT Mod seitdem nicht mehr richtig. Ich hatte dummerweise ein paar Farben mit Umlauten bezeichnet. Habe diese dann geändert bzw. hatte es sich selbsttätig schon geändert.

Schon fertige Contentbereiche werden ordentlich angezeigt, jedoch werden keine neue Stile mehr akzeptiert (d.h. es werden nur Platzhalter angezeigt) und sobald ich neuen Content mit GT erstelle, werden auch dort nur Platzhalter angezeigt.

Hat jemand ein ähnliches Problem oder sogar schon eine Idee...?

vielleicht habe ich mich falsch ausgedrückt, mein Problem liegt beim Graphical Text MOD. Statt den Schriftzügen werden nur die Platzhalter für Bilder angezeigt, klar weil im GT Mod Schrift in Form von Bilder eingefügt wird.
Weiterhin kann ich im Backend keine neuen Stile einfügen, wiederum werden nur Platzhalter für Bilder angezeigt.
Leider konnte ich in deiner Antwort nichts herausfinden, was mich weiterbringt.

Hello Sven! Sorry I don't speak German. Hope this makes a little sense!

Den Schriftkegelzeichensatz zuerst überprüfen, um zu sehen wenn erforderliche Buchstaben gestützt werden.
Die GT Umb. übertragung hängt total von den benutzten Schriftkegeln ab. Nur Unicode Schriftkegel können solche große Zeichensätze haben. Andere ein wenig weniger Unterstützung für einzigartige Buchstaben zwischen Sprachen.

sorry, better I write in english.
Ok, my problem is the using of the GT MOD. Everything was running well, then I was updating to the dev 1.2.6 and put the page on my memory stick. There ist running a new xampplite (with phpmyadmin 2.8.0.3) -> so I run in this problem. Clearly is a problem with the encoding, but both UTF-8 and iso-... is the same result.
The old stuff is running well - and the new staff I get only the freeholder like a missing picture.
May it helps now a little bit more.

If you mean Red X in a square for missing image... what PATH does the missing image placeholder show for properties?

If you mean square graphic where a different character should be then probably a phpWCMS issue. OG has tweaked the script slightly concerning UTF-8 compatiblity (since the security changes) or could be just charset in "conf.inc.php" or even MySQL charset differences. (Reaching for straws

now...
I was setting up a fresh phpwcms 1.2.6 with GT MOD on my test stuff (xampp on memory stick), to try what´s happen.

If I add a new font, I get this message:

Fatal error: imagepng() [<a href='function.imagepng'>function.imagepng</a>]: gd-png: fatal libpng error: zlib error in F:\xampp\htdocs\wcms\include\inc_module\mod_graphical_text\inc_front\gt.func.inc.php on line 110

Then I reload the page and the signs for the fonts will be only a placeholder for a picture (missing picture).
Also on the page appers only the placeholder for missing picture.

Do you have an idea?

I think this error might only occur on servers with PHP v5.1.x or newer, when working with "sizing" PNG images and using GD type of graphic module.

The "likely" problem is that PHP 5.1.x introduced a parameter to the imagepng() function, for controlling the level of quality. This value is an integer between 0 and 9 inclusive and is meant to provide a filtering mode option to imagepng() to allow reducing file size.

That option has not been coded into phpWCMS. Those working under a Windows environment might be able to get away with reverting to an earlier version of gd2.dll:
