And very important in general is to check your ftp type ascii or binary.
Your problem sounds like a problem you can get by using ascii.
So in this case please use the binary mode because the code will be transmitted without converting anything.
American Standard Code for Information Interchange contains only plain text without special characters.
For programms or other stuff u need special chars like % or ? or whatever. So you must take binary.
The problem is: If there´s nothing changed in the ftp settings the files are transmitted by ascii. And cést la vie the chaos is perfect.
