Who knows the WYSIWYG Editor XStandard?

Post non-phpwcms related topics here - but I don't want to see "hey check this or that other cms". Post if you have a point or worthwhile comment, don't post just to increase you post count!

Who knows the WYSIWYG Editor XStandard?

Post by jscholtysik »

Hi all,

who already knows something about the WYSIWYG Editor XStandard?

http://xstandard.com/

Seems to have some nice features like:

- Generates clean XHTML (Strict or 1.1) with no deprecated tags
- Uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for formatting
- Available in 21 languages
- Cleans Microsoft Word
- Inserts images using direct URLs

and many more...

Hi

as far as I understand, it works only on WIN PC's cause you have to install a Application local on your PC - it's not a full WEB-Based Editor.

And it's not FREE and Open-Source !

Hi, I am with the XStandard dev team. I noticed our product mentioned in this thread so I'd like to let you know about a program that we have for open source CMS. Here are the details:

http://xstandard.com/xstandard-lite-for-partner-cms/

FYI, OS X version in currently in the works and a beta is planned for mid-summer.
