Problems with any article after new installation

Post by soesom »

After installing wcms (without any problems) i start working on the homepage.

But i always get php error mesages independent of what kind of article i try to edit. The messages look like this:

Warning: main(include/inc_lib/content/cnt5.readform.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/www/htdocs/phpwcms_1.2.5-DEV/include/inc_lib/article.readform.inc.php on line 44

Warning: main(): Failed opening 'include/inc_lib/content/cnt5.readform.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='/usr/share/php') in /srv/www/htdocs/phpwcms_1.2.5-DEV/include/inc_lib/article.readform.inc.php on line 44

Warning: main(include/inc_lib/content/cnt5.sql.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/www/htdocs/phpwcms_1.2.5-DEV/include/inc_lib/article.editcontent.inc.php on line 299

Warning: main(): Failed opening 'include/inc_lib/content/cnt5.sql.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='/usr/share/php') in /srv/www/htdocs/phpwcms_1.2.5-DEV/include/inc_lib/article.editcontent.inc.php on line 299

Warning: main(include/inc_tmpl/content/cnt4.inc.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/www/htdocs/phpwcms_1.2.5-DEV/include/inc_tmpl/articlecontent.edit.tmpl.php on line 189

Warning: main(): Failed opening 'include/inc_tmpl/content/cnt4.inc.php' for inclusion (include_path='/usr/share/php') in /srv/www/htdocs/phpwcms_1.2.5-DEV/include/inc_tmpl/articlecontent.edit.tmpl.php on line 189

I think that there is one special problems that affects all articles.

Hope anybody can help.

Thanks,
soesom

hello

please check your conf.inc.php if all pathes are ok!
if not sure look into the setup dir for the document_root.php :-)

Paths are the ~likely~ culprit, because when PHP cannot find the "fully-qualified" path to the "called" files... it falls back upon it's own "default" path (include_path='/usr/share/php') as shown in the error messages.

How about posting that portion of your "config.inc.php".

Hi, here is the posting from my conf.inc.php file:

// paths
$phpwcms["DOC_ROOT"] = $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'];
$phpwcms["root"] = ""; //default: ""
$phpwcms["file_path"] = "phpwcms_filestorage"; //default: "phpwcms_filestorage"
$phpwcms["templates"] = "phpwcms_template"; //default: "phpwcms_template"
$phpwcms["content_path"] = "content"; //default: "content"
$phpwcms["cimage_path"] = "images"; //default: "images"
$phpwcms["ftp_path"] = "phpwcms_ftp"; //default: "phpwcms_ftp"

I'm glad to receive any hint...

Thanx in advance,
soesom

Hi soesom,

seems to be the wrong path:
.....www/htdocs/phpwcms_1.2.5-DEV/include/inc.....
and in your config it should be reflecting this subfolder phpwcms_1.2.5-DEV also...
Inspite of beeing a newbie myself this could be the reason for the error anyhow.

So, in detail, youo mean to set the path for "DOC_ROOT" or "root" or anywhere else ?

Thank you,

Hi soesom,

now I've started I'll end it up to:

Code: Select all

$phpwcms["root"] = "phpwcms_1.2.5-DEV"; //default: ""
This should work

Greetings
claus

edit: Just saw it beeing handled even more precise in http://www.phpwcms.de/forum/viewtopic.php?p=63078#63078 earlier before - didn't read carefully enough!
