Can I use phpwcms for a news system + replies?

Before I start using phpwcms I want to know if it is possible to make a newssystem on which people can reply; like the same as on a weblog?

You could add a guestbook content part to the bottom of each article to allow replies. Also, check in hacks and enhancements - I believe shinypixel is working on a blog module with replies.

Thanks for your reply Ben. Is the guestbook way a good way to do it or is it to complicated? I'm aiming to replicate this site with phpwcms. Is it possible to recreate this layout?

there many pages have the feedback-function.
i do it that way. that every time i insert a news article i copy an old one, so the guestbook is there without on click.
works great.
