Just installed PHPwcms and it seems that I can't log into the admin section. I went through the setup and all that and setup a admin user and check in the db to make sure it's in there.
Everytime I try to log in it displays:
Errors during login!
I am sure I am entering the correct user and password.
If anyone has an idea on what could be wrong please contact me.
My ICQ # is 4718571
New Installation! Login doesn't work.
there are a nubler of threads that should help you here if you use the 'seach'
in brief...
1: check that you copied the conf.inc.php from the setup dir to the include/inc_conf dir
2: check that your conf.inc.php has the corect database login details
3: check you ar elogining in with the correct user/password and that it is caps sensitive (caps lock on?)
4: check that you have the latest patches installed.
5: if still no joy then post your system settings or a link to your phpinfo()

Login doesn't work, from syncbeta
Hi syncbeta,
Sometimes this error is caused due to your browser's privacy settings. What i just can suggest you is to set up your browser's internet options (tools menu option), either by enabling local cookies or setting up a lower privacy level, and check it untill you find the right level that let you login to phpwcms admin backend with no problems.
I'm almost sure that your problem are cookies!!!
Hope this can help you.
Enjoy phpwcms!
