only one source installation!!

is it possible to do just one installation and to use it like typo3 with symlinks?
Eg. I have 4, 5 or 10... websites using phpwcms and I want to have just one core system installed on a webserver. the number of files i need for eache user should be split in another package. would be nice for updating 10 pages or more and not doing it several times

But, it is flexible enough in some ways...
...that you could probably have separate installations...
...reference (pull in) a lot of the same content...
...from one (each other, or multiple) sites...
...via the {PHP: and {URL: tags...
...with some care and consideration.
