Password recovery?

Post by mstroz »

Hi,

In a real jam.

I'm the webmaster/admin for a local church's website. I have allowed others to access the site to make edits/content changes. I gave admin priveledges to a few, unfortunately that was a mistake because now the admin password has been changed and I can no longer login.

I have still access to the hosting control panel as well as the MySQL tables, for the load.

Is there an easy fix?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much,
Mark

You can do it in phpmyadmin. Find the phpwcms_users table and the admin user... then generate and paste in the new password:

That page seems to have vanished, is there another?

Hi,

here is one account for your mySql:
User: goadmin
PW: "mypass
hash: a029/d0df/84eb/5549/c641/e04a/9ef3/89e5
Kill all slashes!!

After login you must change these settings in backend.

Gruß Knut
