Being the best is a good thing, it is also important to be appreciated. I see many phpwcms powered sites that do not have the mention of phpwcms, I mean, how about a link at the footer, at least?

That's how I found PHPWCMS...
I can't remember the ratings about 1,5 year ago, but even then it was clear it was better and/or less complicated than the others...

My impression: I had (still do) the feeling that with this cms I am not that restricted in my creativity.

A friend of me asked me to config his mambo .... it took several hours... half day wasted ... just a new template inside...

In the "comment this CMS" you can see this. Makes me angry...
Why do pple have to destroy (what they actually don't UNDERSTAND) and be so negative? I hate that!

I simply can't imagine how this CMS got a rating over 'poor' unless the author's friends are the ones commenting on it. I've tried many CMSs on recommendation from this site, even XOOPS installs easier than this. I used the same release as the test on this page, installed it following the directions to the letter listed on the author's own web site, and upon completion, when I try to redirect to index.php, all I get is a blank page.. in fact, that's all you'll get off this website's demo, too. Try it if you don't believe me. You can login and try to set up your preferences all day, and you'll still get .. nothing. What trash! PHP-Fusion and e107 so far are my favorites, they both install easily and guide you through, and have a nice set of options available. I tried this because it looked deceptively simple and sell designed. One of those things is true - it's apparant simplicity is QUITE deceptive.

He didn't even take the time to set a template and put content ... and he allows himself (must have a very good opinion of himself too, looks humble and all) to publish that sort of comments! Some people really need to get out of their mother pants and start READING the docu (and practice some html, css and php) and THINK about what they are doing and writing.

Now my turn
When you look at his "site" you see... a CMS system that has been discontinued (due to code owners problems apprently lol), plus his site is ugly and messy and "predictable" (aaah, I feel better now )

also ich hab mir soeben php-fuse angesehen (das system, mit dem der hier beschumpfene seine seite gemacht hat) und muss sagen, da ist phpwcms gar nicht mal so gross gegen.
wenn nicht kleiner.
ich habe mich jetzt paar tage mit phpwcms beschäftigt und kenne so langsam die möglichkeiten und die minuspunkte...
ich wage mich mal an eine zusammenfassung meiner eindrücke nach dem durchblättern der pdf-docu von php-fuse und dem system hier...

php-fuse:

+photogalerie.... da brauch ich wohl nicht viel zu sagen. den mod von ähhh hab den nick vergessen hab ich versucht zu installieren. hat aber nicht geklappt (liegt nicht am mod ))

+haben themes, so dass man in 20 minuten eine seite zusammenschustern kann. wenn also mal wieder irgendwon honk ankommt und sagt "häääy, hab gehört du hast html? kannste mir ne seite machen?..."

- finde die themes, die ich gesehen habe beschissen.... )

-nicht so eine tolle community wie hier im forum

+ist ganz nett und der programmierstil entspricht auch meiner logik

+man kann sehr einfach eigene kleine erweiterungen einbauen mit {php:bla.php}

-keine themes (bis vor einer woche zumindest) verfügbar. naja.

-userlogin fehlt auch.... das ist kakke....
