managing images

Post by sporto »

This is such a great tool and I have so many questions...

If I have a page and I want to include a number of images on it, including sliced images within tables... Is it best to upload them via FTP to the pictures directory and use an image replacement tag to include them, upload them via the file manager and include them with the "article & image" option, or is there another way entirely that I'm not sure about?

What makes most sense and what are the advantages and disadvantages of each?

If you use pre-layouted images like sliced images in a table within content you should use pure HTML code. Simpler images like summary images on phpwcms project page should inserted with replacement tags - all on the fly to resize images and clickable images are better used with phpwcms own image content parts.
