cannot login anymore

hi,

suddenly i cannot login to a site any more... without an error-message i get login.php again... already reset the password, but doesn't help.... no error in httpd error_log

HELP! plz!

I'm not sure what it could be.

Did they upgrade PHP? mySQL?
Is the frontend still all okay?
Is the .htaccess contents unchanged?
Can you turn on all errors & notices via "php.ini"?
What version of phpWCMS?

Was there other usernames/passes to try?
Is "config.inc.php" values still correct?
Did host have to do a restore from backup, lately?
Is browser settings or firewall interfering with sessions or cookies?

Maybe, if all else fails, you could backup everything, including your site-specific changes to Config, CSS files, hacks and such, then redo an install of that version. If it is as you say... you could use the same username and have only two(2) possible passwords between you and getting it to run.

Sorry I don't have any GOOD ideas. I admit I've never been faced with your problem, before

No. other installation on the same server are OK.

no, i created an other account via phpmyadmin, same effect

surely not, other installations are fine

looks like i can only login once after uploading the db... when i log out i can't get back in!

which release of phpwcms? and sounds like you or your provider has made a MySQL Upgrade.

i can get back in when i delete userlog table entrys.. but i get an errormessage when i try to create a new contentpart....

i reinstalled all from scratch with cvs-Vers. from 27.11. with this release all is ok... so i guess its a problem within the 14.12. release, or a problem between my local mysql5 and server mysql4.0

....
