nice enhancement ouside wcms

hi to all,

i often get mad when i need to download a file, edit it and upload again..

so i installed phpxlorer (http://www.phpxplorer.de) and set some changes so now i can edit all files in wcms installation online and save it. GREAT.

usefull for:
- config.inc.php
- default.templ.inc.php
- fontend.css and much more

try it.

Do you know WinSCP?

WinSCP is an open source SFTP client for Windows. Its main function is the secure file transfer between a local and a remote computer. Beyond this, WinSCP offers basic file manager functionality. It uses Secure Shell (SSH) and supports, in addition to Secure FTP, also legacy SCP protocol.

WinSCP is also available as a plugin to two file managers, FAR and Servant Salamander.

no i don't know this - since now :-)

But for online and offline use?

I mean by posting you don't need to do mostly all online.

I want to avoid to work offline, just do all on server.

do you think using of phpxlorer is a security risk?
