Seems like cguenther is building his own script on phpwcms - what do you know about that?
Do cguenther and OG work together on this or is it a "attack" on phpwcms?
I cant find any post in this forum when searching on "keonaXMS" - weird?
keonaXMS - a phpwcms outbreak?

Sourceforge:
If what they do can benefit phpwcms, why not? But if OG is not ok with it I think they should respect his decision... Anyway...this is Open Source, right
The only thing, -maybe- (I really don't want to speak before knowing what it is) the message seems a little "marketing-oriented" as we all know the usermanagment is a big issue for a lot of people.
Cheers
CGuenther's site:The project will start with fork of phpwcms (as we already did with our modifications of phpwcms). We want to push the CMS more into the XML direction. Much other features like: accessability, workflow- and usermanagement should be added.
Seems like they're pretty clear about their intentions.keonaXMS

You're right, I can't see any negative with that, either.I don't see any negative point on creating forks from OpenSource products
But for the community, I think, we would simply prefer them to put their
creativity into phpWCMS instead of creating a fork of it. It seems they are
OK with the CMS - as is - but want to add extra xml functionality.
The other objectives they put on their tasklist comply to those of phpWCMS.
