A script to check site wide -> EXT LINKs validity

A customer of ours brought to my attention this idea...
Would be nice if we could have a tool (a script) that would... from time to time, check the validity for the outside links [EXT], and this, site wide, of course.

Anyone would have any toughts on this topic...?

I tested it on a 1.1 RC4 site. Sound good

Although... some errors and some stuff not working but..
the essential is working. Thanks again. Awesome.
I'll try to elaborate more on this as soon as I can get time...
