Thumbnail problem [SOLVED]

I have two installations on the same host. The 1.1 RC4 in fact SHOWING thumbnails and I can choose from the image browser list.

The 1.2.1 version NOT showing thumbnails and although I created folders, the folders (and pictures) not showing up in de inage browser.

I saw that SAFE MODE was ON. Is that the problem?

normally not - do you use GD2?

ImageMagic is the system I use.

Strange though that on the same domain the old version of phpWCMS works with thumbnails and the 123 version doesn't

insert path for "convert" in conf.inc.php.

Tried the usr/bin path. Doesn't work.
Same version of phpWCMS installation on other domain woth same provider gives no thumbnail problem.

I really don't understand. Asked the provider to switch of safe mode! Let's see if that solves the problem.

yes - in safe mode you have NO access on convert.

My provider changed the setting safe mode to off. All my problems are solved.
