VER_DROPDOWN question

I have tried the VERT_DROPDOWN replacement tag but..... The menu (in case of submenus) presses down the content and the rest of the webpage. So it doesn't work as rollover but it movers the content of the rest of the site.

I very much like the appearence of the VERT_DROPDOWN but this is not usable ( In IE6 and Firefox)

Please HELP anybody???
