Corporate websites that using phpwcms?

Post by deanloh »

I'm thinking of proposing phpwcms for a corporate website. In case I'm asked about reliability of this script, I need to be able to show them some good examples of corporates using this to publish their websites.

When I said corporate, I didn't mean just a registered business, I'm talking about a publicly traded company. Therefore due diligence is necessary or I will get my butt kicked really badly.

I really like to hear some advice if it is wise for me to go ahead with this one or should I look at something else, e.g. Mambo that has Michael Jackson and Porsche, Drupal that has FireFox etc.

It's about time for phpwcms to flaunt it's capability. What we see under "Sites We Are Proud Of" may not be good enough if phpwcms desires to be a true star. I like what Mambo has done their part to sell themselves: http://mamboserver.com/index.php?option ... Itemid=101

Can we see something similiar at phpwcms as well?

That aside, I need to know if there's any successful implementation of phpwcms for corporate sites, please post the links here. My proposal is due this weekend. Appreciate your attention very much.

Sorry, answered your post too quickly...

I put http://www.piezo.be as an example but they are not really a BIG company, just a little graphic studio.

I'm not aware of BIG brands (as Porsche ... Brazil for Mambo ;-) using PHPWCMS, but myself I'm doing more and more proposals with PHWCMS, i.e. most likely I'm going to develop the Minister President of Brussels (Belgium) official web page using PHPWCMS (if this happens I swear I'll donate!!)

Cheers

Just seen (made by nekket): http://www.derkleineprinz.de/index.php?2en

Edited
A bunch of official Quebec's sites (made by StudioZ) http://www.malouin.ws/design/fr_portfol ... rnet.phtml

Some pple that take full advantage of PHPWCMS and take it to the next level by coding or design (and look more "pro" then almost all CMS around)...

Fluvio Romanin: http://www.fulvioromanin.it/

This is only my opinion and is not exhaustive!

You're right
I will!
And if the http://www.picque.be goes on (I did the site but he needs a new one pretty soon) I'll donate a more significant sum.

I've been using phpwcms since a while (though I made only 1 site with it) and no return, shame on me.
