How to enhance the page title

Hi

I looking for a way to enhance the auto-generated page title. That title is used as a name when the user bookmarks the page. Due to the setup of our website, the bookmark name is way too long and has repeating words in it (as category name and title of category, and article name are often the same or almost the same).

How can I change the page title?

OK -- found it out: you can set it in the page layout, at the 'set to title' option.
